I am here to guide you on your health journey
About Sustain
Sustain was started to support mom’s on their health journey. Whether you are pregnant, a brand new mom, or have been in the mom game for years, the job never ends. When becoming a mom, your priorities change and as the days go by that priority moves further and further away from YOU. I cannot speak for all moms, but I know for me I struggled to find a balance between prioritizing family versus myself. What I have learned is that prioritizing yourself sets you up for greater success in supporting your family, especially when it comes to health.
I created Sustain because when I started my journey into motherhood in 2021, everything changed. I struggled to find the time and energy for fitness, when prior to motherhood it was my top priority. Even when I was exercising, it was difficult to bring my mind to focus on what I was doing and not think of the million other things that I had to accomplish that day.
Not only did my priorities change, but I came to realize so did my WHY. Why did I want to live a healthy lifestyle? Why did I want to have a consistent exercise routine and ensure I was fueling myself with the proper nutrients to do so? Answering these questions honestly with myself was the first important step to restarting my health journey in this brand new phase of life.
So, together let’s determine your WHY and get to work on building a healthy lifestyle you can sustain throughout every phase of motherhood.

Meet Clair
Clair Van Gorp is a wife, a mom of two boys, and the owner of SustainFit. She started SustainFit in 2023 to share her passion for purposeful, sustainable movement and to support women in feeling strong and confident in this new role of motherhood and beyond. Her business started as she reflected on her own journey into motherhood and the changes that came with it. She recognized that lack of resources available to women who wanted to strength train in pregnancy and postpartum as well as the lack of information being shared. She is now expanding her business into strength training for the menopause transition so she can support women through all stages of life feel strong and confident in who they are and who they have yet to become.
Clair grew up in the United States in upstate New York and met her Belgian husband while living and working in Chicago. They now live in Brussels, Belgium with their two sons. As a family they love to travel, hike, bike and spend time with family and friends.
